Red Mule Inn in Eaton

Historical location. Nice staff, friendly crowd, excellent kitchen. Had an awesome Filet Mignon w huge baked potato! As the train goes by the place rumbles.. So cool! Worth the drive.

Initially the new owner was great! Slowly though, she eliminated the staff that made me want go there. The current staff is quite crotchity and grumpy. They get to you when they get to you.

Loved the Chicken bacon ranch pizza

Burger was shriveled up, dried out, and burnt. Beer was skunky. Service was nonexistent. Had to flag down passing by servers just for condiments. Was much better under old owners.

Great place to hang out

Small town bar with great food and friendly service. Love the breaded tenderloin, fried green beans and fried pickles. Been coming for years, but have never seen the Red Mule, maybe next time.

This is one of our favorite places for ice cold beer and delicious food served by friendly and experienced people. The decor has recently been redone lending an upscale but still folksy and relaxing vibe. In Eaton, Ohio The Red Mule sits snug up against a railroad track. It's always a treat for us when the trains rumble by just outside the window.

Very popular and packed, The best philly cheese steak I have had so far.Our waitress was swamped and very busy and yet so polite and made sure we were taking care of. The upside or downside(depending on your perspective) of the place it is right next to railroad tracks.So if your looking for a good place to eat and like trains check out the Red Mule and get the Philly.

Incredible food and right by the tracks where you could watch the trains pass. Very enjoyable :)

Good. Crowded, even on a mid Saturday afternoon, which is a good thing. We were in a booth, with my wife facing the front door area. Her eyes got huge and she stopped talking. Thought the train was coming right at us. Train tracks just feet from the building. It was awesome

Good food and friendly staff

Nice bar/ restaurant with a great staff and food selection. Be there early enough for lunch or all places will be filled. But it's also nice to sit an the bar and just have a drink.

Red Mule is my hometown bar. It ain't perfect, but then I'm not perfect. Food is what you expect, the beer is cold and the company is always excellent, especially when I'm by myself. Im kidding! When you think about it it's really the only neighborhood bar left in Eaton. There's the 230 club but ya can't get lunch there. There were lots of bars in town when I was a kid. What happened!?

Friendly, helpful staff in a down-home atmosphere. I had a Philly cheese steak that was amazing, and the rest of my party enjoyed their food as well. We'll be going back.

I got my order waited 25 minutes on deep frie butterfly shrimp there was suppose to be six pieces three were raw two burnt one missing . was carry out . lucky. Looked before i left no sauces included. Was suppose to .so i asked for a refund and returned the food . not happy .

Very neat and convenient spot. They provide big portions and for fair prices. I liked the food a lot and the staff were very amiable and chatty. I recommend this place.

Yummo! Grilled tenderloin today. Great little place. Takes awhile to get your food because it's freshly made. Friendly staff. Nice crowd. Gets a little loud for some when it's crowded. We eat there often and have enjoyed every thing, every time.
